Well there are two faces of blogging. First, to be honest, just sharing the latest buzz among your readers, sharing your personal experience and sharing the thing which you love and love to write about. Second, the major facet of blogging is writing for business like writing for the services of any particular business or organization.
I often see this common problem with beginners that after writing lots of things about certain topic or business, they get bored and find it almost impossible to write anymore about the same thing. This is first scenario.
The second scenario i often see is many of the blogger start blogging to make money, to earn by advertising etc. but after 6 or 7 months, you won't find any blog of your niche on the website. Reasons are obvious, now that blog is just posting everything because they are tired of writing about the same niche.
These kinds of problems arise when you are not a regular reader or you have just lost interest in writing about new thing and inventions in the category you are dealing with.
Here are some quick points which can help you in sharpen your writing style:
1. Write about latest buzz
Well this is something people really love to read, a sure shortcut of getting hits, don't worry you won't face any situation like traffic loss.
2. Share your own experience
Share the experience about the service or product you bought recently. People really like to read about gadgets and the product they are willing to use.
3. Leave space for discussion
After you complete your post, leave space for a healthy discussion. It will make your readers engaged.
4. Humor (golden rule of writing)
If it's not a business blog, you can post some humorous stories. Humor is the best medicine and it can really change the mood of your readers.
5. Don't always promote
Promoting the same thing again and again makes your blog a promotional business blog rather then a spot where readers can find some genuine tips and information.
6. Let visuals speak
Try to post some images with your posts.
Have i forget to mention something?
Umm.. yup..
7. Title matters
Don't overuse the same title. Try to write a catchy one like " SEO Tips from the desk of Matt Cuts" or something like that.
Well at the end i would like to say,
" Write for your readers, not for search engines. Build trust and loyalty."
